jumble buddy is developed by Helvella Studios. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address. This is stored by Firebase Authentication (Google) and used solely to authenticate you.
Usage quota. Each time you unjumble your thoughts, we record a count and timestamp server-side to enforce monthly and per-minute usage limits. We store your subscription tier (free or pro), your monthly unjumble count, and the timestamps of recent requests. This is associated with your account.
Your thoughts. The thoughts you type or dictate are stored only on your device and are never stored in the cloud.
When you tap "Unjumble," the text of your thoughts is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a response. Only the plain text is transmitted -- no device information, identifiers, or metadata. Helvella Studios does not log, store, or retain this text on any server. Google's use of this data is governed by their Generative AI Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
To delete your account and associated data, contact us at privacy@jumblebuddy.com. Your on-device data can be cleared at any time from within the app.
